★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 727 reviews · from $9Best value

Review of Phnom Penh’s $9 sunset cruise with hotel tuk-tuk pickup, unlimited beer, BBQ buffet, river views, and practical return-trip tips.

“Our Sunset Barbecue Cruise was a fantastic experience. We opted for the sunset-only package (no unlimited drinks or buffet), but upon boarding, we were given the option to upgrade: $6 for unlimited beer, $6 for unlimited food, or $12 for both—a great value. The sunset views were breathtaking, and the overall cruise experience was excellent. The boat was clean, and the staff were friendly, even taking photos of all guests during sunset. The music was decent, though not particularly memorable. Overall, a well-organized and enjoyable cruise, perfect for those looking to soak in the sunset with a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!Read more”

“We were picked up on time where Sok at Siemreaper gave us a walkthrough and prepared us for the morning. Guiding us safely to the ferry where we explored markets and the silk tour was really interesting. We were kept hydrated and the ride was really easy being quit flat all the way. It was most excellent being able to enjoy the back streets with ample stops and a great pace.”

“Nice tour with good views and a very kind and funny staff. We were afraid that only young and drunk people would be on board for the free drinks, but it was actually quite mixed. Yes, you can get as many beers as you can drink - but most people did not.”

He took us to many places and found us the most amazing place for lunch. The tour was made fantastic thanks to his kindness. He even dropped us off at a shopping mall at the end. Fantastic day out.”

“Great fun and learnt how to cook my favourite Fish Amok, plus rice paper rolls and banana caramel. Chef Lom Ang from the Banana Cooking School is an excellent teacher. We shopped in the local market, which is always very colourful and full of interesting smells ( some not so good). Then back at Le Rose to cook. I was lucky enough to have the morning session all to myself. Thanks Lom Ang and your team at the Banana Cooking School.”

Cycle Silk Island from Phnom Penh through villages, farms, temples, silk workshops, and a floating lunch stop for $45.

“Knowledgeable guide and enjoyable tour, though it was more about local farming than silk production than I expected. Good bikes but one thing to note: As a petite adult, I need a small helmet and the only one they had that was small enough to fit me had a broken adjustable inner band so it kept slipping off my head. Good thing I never needed it because it wouldn’t have done anything to protect my noggin. Please ensure appropriate safety equipment is available for a wider range of riders and in good working order. Total distance on bike was 15 miles, about half on paved roads, the rest on gravel…”
